چکیده

Even though the potential of fungus Ampelomyces quisqualis against powdery mildew has been largely demonstrated, efficacy commercialised product AQ10 Biofungicide is not consistent. Recently, a solid formulation A. strain CPA-9 that included biodegradable coatings on its composition was developed to overcome major shortcomings biocontrol agents applied under practical conditions. The aims present study were show compatibility with different phytosanitary products, and confirm this novel in approaches: (i) conditions temperature (20 30 °C) relative humidity (40, 60 85%) surfaces (glass zucchini leaves), (ii) after rainfall episodes, (iii) verifying Podosphaera xanthii parasitization by dried conidia CPA-9. It demonstrated compatible several so it might be integrated management programmes. Moreover, showed better resilience than non-formulated conidia, both glass surface leaves. Adherence treatments leaves did significant differences simulated all tested concentrations able produce pycnidia P. hyphae. Therefore, fluidised-bed spray-dried together compounds makings becoming product, although their should assessed.

Transcriptional Reprogramming of the Mycoparasitic Fungus Ampelomyces quisqualis During the Powdery Mildew Host-Induced Germination.

Ampelomyces quisqualis is a mycoparasite of a diverse range of phytopathogenic fungi associated with the powdery mildew disease. Among them are several Erysiphaceae species with great economic impact on high-value crops such as grape. Due to its ability to parasitize and prevent the spread of powdery mildews, A. quisqualis has received considerable attention for its biocontrol potential. Howeve...

Morpho-Molecular Characterization of Two Ampelomyces spp. (Pleosporales) Strains Mycoparasites of Powdery Mildew of Hevea brasiliensis

Powdery mildew disease of rubber affects immature green leaves, buds, inflorescences, and other immature tissues of rubber trees, resulting in up to 45% losses in rubber latex yield worldwide. The disease is often controlled by dusting the diseased plants with powdered sulfur, which can have long-term negative effects on the environment. Therefore, it is necessary to search for alternative and ...

Intracellular Mycoparasites in Action: Interactions Between Powdery Mildew Fungi and Ampelomyces

Pycnidial fungi of the genus Ampelomyces are widespread intracellular mycoparasites of powdery mildew fungi worldwide. Their pycnidia are produced in hyphae, conidiophores and immature ascomata of their mycohosts. Thus, they suppress both the asexual and the sexual reproduction of the invaded powdery mildew mycelia, and then destroy them completely. Conidia of Ampelomyces are released from the ...

Lasiodiplodia theobromae is a Mycoparasite of a Powdery Mildew Pathogen

Powdery mildews on over 40 plants in Bangalore were screened during July-December of 2003~2008. Isolates from mycoparasitised Oidium caesalpiniacearum of Bauhinia purpurea comprised Lasiodiplodia theobromae, in addition to Ampelomyces quisqualis. Koch's postulates were satisfied to establish the mycoparasitism of L. theobromae. This is the first report that L. theobromae acts as a mycoparasite ...
